Before undergoing the medical examination, Gregorio Rodríguez, San Lorenzo’s new reinforcement, left a clear message that marks his arrival at the club. The 26-year-old right winger, who arrived on a free loan with an option to buy from Melgar, did not hide his enthusiasm or ambition when wearing the Barça shirt.
“I follow him to San Lorenzo and see him. I did not hesitate for a second to come, it is a great joy,” said Rodríguez, highlighting that his decision was immediate. The greatness of the club was a determining factor: “It is a great man from Argentina and America. That entails a very great responsibility and we are ready to assume it.”
The brand new reinforcement also highlighted the speed with which his arrival was resolved: “Everything was unlocked very quickly and it is a great joy.” And far from lowering expectations, he was direct with the collective objective: “Expectations are high. There is a team to get excited about and we are going to fight for everything.”
Rodríguez will undergo a medical examination today and tomorrow he will train for the first time with the squad, remaining at the disposal of the coaching staff to begin his adaptation to Argentine football.
