Steur to Germany? Transfer Talks Progressing

Eintracht Frankfurt’s interest in Sean Steur is alive and well. The German branch of Sky Sport announces in a new update that negotiations with Ajax’s top talent are in full swing.

It has been known for some time that Eintracht is charmed by Steur. The first reports of this were heard in Germany at the beginning of December. More than a month later, the interest has all but blown over. “The seventeen-year-old is one of the most desired players,” Sky Sport writes about Steur and Eintracht.

The German club sees a lot of potential in the Ajax midfielder. Steur is considered a number 8 and a player who will break through as an international for the Dutch national team in the future. What stage the talks between Eintracht, Steur and Ajax are at.

The top talent still has a contract in Amsterdam until mid-2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current value is 700,000 euros. Whether that is actually the amount that Ajax wants for him remains to be seen.

Sturgeon had his big breakthrough at Ajax just before the winter break. Under interim coach Fred Grim, the talent was given starting places against Qarabag, Feyenoord and NEC. The Dutch youth international made a good impression.
