New Atlanta Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski added former Miami Dolphins assistant Craig Aukerman as special teams coordinator Monday as part of a series of moves to round out his staff.
Aukerman was the Dolphins’ special teams coordinator in 2025, after serving as the Los Angeles Rams’ assistant special teams coach in 2024. He previously served on the Tennessee Titans’ staff for seven seasons, including stints as special teams coordinator and assistant coach.
Stefanski also offered Robert Prince the position of wide receiver instructor and Bob Quinn as senior advisor. The Falcons also announced the return of assistant coach Justin Hood, defensive line coach Nate Ollie and offensive line coach Kevin Koger.
Falcons owner Arthur Blank fired head coach Raheem Morris and general manager Terry Fontenot after an 8-9 season, the team’s eighth straight losing season. Georgia has begun to reshuffle its management team by hiring former quarterback Matt Ryan as president of football. Stefanski, the former Cleveland Browns coach, and the new general manager will report to Ryan.
