A surprise and noisy guest! As the players from Stade Français and Exeter were preparing to enter the pitch at the Jean-Bouin stadium to start their duel for the third day of the Rugby Challenge Cup, they were stopped in their tracks by a shrill noise. An unbearable sound spewed from the stadium’s huge speakers.
It was neither the new sound design of the team presentation nor any stadium alarm… but a simple technical bug.
The noise in the usual den of rugby players from Stade Français and footballers from Paris FC, which seemed to last an eternity to the ears of the spectators present, caused the kick-off of the match to be postponed.
It finally stopped after a little over five minutes and the players were finally able to begin their meeting.
