Jeremiah St. Juste is close to no longer being a problem for Sporting. The central defender, who has been away from the working group since the summer, could even leave the Lions in this market window, you know BALL. After refusing to leave at the start of the season (after negotiating with some Spanish and German clubs), the Dutchman has been working separately at the Cristiano Ronaldo Academy in Alcochete until a solution for his future is found.
With a contract valid until the end of the season, and a gross salary of around 3.2 million euros, there are some movements at this time in the market for St. Juste, not only in Spain (in Valencia he is seen as an option, although he is still behind another name in the League, in this case Justin de Haas, from Famalicão), but in other European markets that have already made some approaches to the 29-year-old defender.

Hired from Mainz (Germany) in 2022/2023, in a €10 million financial operation, St. Juste’s career with the Lions was marked, above all, by successive physical problems that kept him out of the competition for many games. With 80 appearances in the Lions team (2 goals), Sporting attempted a transfer at the beginning of the season, but they were able to obtain some financial return on his signing, however, the player’s refusal to leave ended up precipitating his departure, placing him at the end of the line of candidates to be a solution in the defensive axis.
Now, however, as far as it was possible to ascertain, another attempt is underway to remove a player who has been active on… social media, with several publications in which he shows that he is in… shape, with exercises at the Academy. Despite the wave of injuries in the squad, a possible return was never even considered and a desired end in the connection between the lions and St. Juste is close to happening…
