On Tatyana’s Day, January 25, the seventh round of the 40th Open Snow Football Championship of the Suvorovsky District (8×8) “Snowman – 2026” took place.

The leaders of the championship that day were arguing in absentia. Thus, Suvorov’s “Virtus” met with the championship outsider Suvorov’s “Energia” (Cherepetskaya GRES), which again was unable to field a full squad for the game.

This time there were only six people in their ranks at the starting whistle. True, by the 12th minute there were seven of them, but this did not help much, since, having previously conceded only one goal, the power engineers received six more unanswered goals during the meeting.

The Virtus players took advantage of the situation and tried to replenish their Bombardi piggy banks. Alexander Kinzhalov was especially successful in this, scoring a hat-trick in the 29th, 40th and 45th minutes. In addition, Dmitry Lukyanov scored a double (15 and 22), and Maxim Shramchenko (4) and Roman Dzhun (19) scored once each.

Having won an easy victory, “Virtus” was one victory away from the championship leader Cherepetsky “Spartak” and hoped for its misfire in the confrontation with “Belevsky Etalon”.

And the Suvorovites did not hope in vain. The Belevites were able to stubbornly resist the favorite, as already in the 8th minute they opened the scoring with a penalty, which was converted without hesitation by Yaroslav Mitrokhin – 1:0.

No matter how hard the Cherepets team tried, they were unable to find at least one gap in the opponent’s defense in the first half hour. But this is how it happens: the very first attack in the opening seconds of the second half brought them success.

Being in the center of the attack and receiving the ball from the right flank, Mehrubon Narzulloev immediately made a pass to the opposite flank to Dmitry Agapov, who from a rather acute angle and delivered a targeted shot – 1:1.

On the wave of success, Cherepets took the lead after 14 minutes. This time M. Narzulloev himself sent the ball into the net – 2:1.

At that time, the Spartak players were unable to maintain the winning score. Six minutes later, Maxim Khrisanov punished them for a mistake in defense with a shot into the upper left corner – 2:2.

True, after the same six minutes, Maxim became the unwitting culprit of the goal already in his own goal, when D. Agapov, after a strong unsuccessful strike from his partner from outside the penalty area, managed to send the ball into the thick of the defenders from the goal line with one touch – 3:2.

This time the Cherepets took advantage of the confusion in the opponent’s ranks and after an hour of play they led with a score of 4:2.

As it turned out later, Evgeniy Romanov’s goal from D. Agapov became the winning goal for Spartak, since already in the 3rd added minute Belevets Y. Mitrokhin made the score 4:3 with a header.

Having won another victory, the Cherepets team took another step towards the championship. Now they only need to score one point in the two remaining matches.

The next round will take place on Sunday, February 1st.
