Sikan: Anderlecht Scouting Report – Depth & Ball Control

FRIDAY, JANUARY 23, 2026, 9:17 PM – Garrincha

INTERVIEWS At his press chat this afternoon, Besnik Hasi was very happy with the arrival of Danylo Sikan. “Normally players had to leave first, but it’s great that the club didn’t wait to get a new striker,” the coach said.

“Today Danylo trained with the group for the first time and he is physically fine. He has also trained and played at Trabzonspor in recent weeks and months,” said Hasi

“Danylo is a footballing striker. He provides peace of mind, can keep track of the ball well, but is also someone who is looking for depth,” is how the coach describes his newest player. “I would compare him with Oleg Iachtchouk, with whom I played at Anderlecht and at Cercle. They have the same movements and game intelligence. But Sikan is bigger and stronger. He is also explosive in the first meters.”

“It is great that the club has anticipated and brought in a striker earlier than expected. Because normally players had to leave first. The club has now made an effort to bring in a striker. Now we have to integrate him as quickly as possible. I already spoke to him and he is a sensible boy. He also speaks good English.”
