Last Sunday, Sestao River took a big weight off their shoulders. The green-black team went five consecutive games without winning – three draws and … two defeats -, which took him a long way from the leadership and direct promotion. All that fateful streak was left behind last Sunday, when they beat Deportivo Aragón 0-1, current bottom of group 2 of the Second Federation. A victory that allowed them to climb to second place, although they are still eight points behind the leader, Real Unión.
Now they want to continue on the path of victory in the match that takes place tomorrow at 11:30 am in As Llanas al Ejea. Furthermore, the people of Sestaota are already eager to have fun in their countryside. Their last victory at home was on November 22, almost two months ago, against Eibar B (1-0). From that moment on, they have gone three games in a row without winning in Las Llanas. They tied against SD Logroñés (1-1), against Gernika (2-2) and lost against Amorebieta (1-2).
Ejea comes into this clash occupying the play-out position, just two points above the relegation places. Although, last weekend, against Gernika (1-0), they also put an end to a streak of four games in a row without winning. It should be remembered that, in the first leg, Sestao River won 0-2.
