Saudi Club Bid Fails: Inter Milan Miss Out on Ex-Villa Winger

Al-Ittihad have rejected Inter Milan’s attempt to sign Moussa Diaby, bringing the negotiations to a halt for now.

The talks have collapsed after the Saudi club delivered their latest decision.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports, via FCInter1908that Al-Ittihad informed Diaby and his representatives that they would not accept Inter’s proposal.

The Nerazzurri had offered a loan deal with an option to buy set at €35 million, but the structure did not convince the Saudi side.

As a result, the move is currently off.

The decision represents a blow to Inter’s late-market plans.

With this track now blocked, Inter may be forced to reassess their options in the final stages of the window.

Whether the situation changes will depend on a shift in Al-Ittihad’s stance or a new formula being proposed.

For the moment, however, Diaby remains in Saudi Arabia and Inter’s hopes of landing him have suffered a significant setback.
