São Paulo beat Ibrachina 4-1 on Thursday night (22/1), at Morumbis, and advanced to the final of the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior. Paulinho, Isac, Gustavo Santana and Igor Felisberto scored for the tricolor. Luiz Fernando did it for his rival.
Current champions, São Paulo are seeking the Copinha title for the sixth time. Ibrachina, on the other hand, says goodbye to the historic campaign: it eliminated big clubs like Atlético and Palmeiras.
Cup Final: São Paulo x Cruzeiro
The duel between São Paulo and Cruzeiro for the Copinha final will be played this Sunday (25/1), at Pacaembu. The departure time has not yet been confirmed.
The goals of São Paulo x Ibrachina
São Paulo opened the scoring at the beginning of the game, five minutes into the first half. Djhordney found a beautiful pass over the top for Paulinho, who dominated the area and finished with a cross. At 21, it was Isac’s turn to score. In a corner kick, the defender beat goalkeeper Gabriel Sena high up and sent the ball into the back of the goal.
Ibrachina pulled one back in the 28th minute with Luiz Fernando from the penalty spot. After a cross, Gustavo Santana finished to score the third tricolor goal in the 41st minute of the opening stage.
In the first minute of the second stage, GB was sent off after a foul on Tetê. From the kick, Igor Felisberto hit over the barrier and scored a great goal for Tricolor do Morumbi.
