Sandra Näslund took her fifth victory in the season’s sixth World Cup competition.
A month after her last start, she won the ski cross race in Veysonnaz, Switzerland.

Sandra Näslund makes a big impression during her comeback season with the goal of defending her Olympic gold.
During the winter, there have so far been five victories and a third place in six competitions, in total in his career the 29-year-old is now up to 44 World Cup victories.
It was a dramatic final where the German Daniela Maier was ahead for a while, but the Swede showed the winner’s skull at the end.
– It was tough, I felt that she was close. I thought I had lost. I want to win every time, so it feels fun, says Sandra Näslund.
Swedish final crash
On the men’s side, David Mobärg finished fourth in the final after crashing and losing his ski in third place.
– Poor David Mobärg, poor David Mobärg. He got stuck in the Swiss Tobias Bauer and didn’t have a chance to do anything, says Rickard Olsson.
Instead, it was the Frenchman Youri Duplessis-Kergomard who won the race.
There was also drama in both the quarter-finals and the semi-finals where he came close to both doing a backflip and going down into the split.
Four weeks to go
Big brother Erik Mobärg won his round of 16 final but went out in the quarter after mistakes at the beginning.
The World Cup continues with new competitions in Veysonnaz on Saturday.
Then there will be the Olympic race in Italian Val di Fassa next Saturday and Sunday.
At the Olympics, where ski cross is decided in Livigno, the ladies race on Friday 20 February and the men on Saturday 22 February.
