Future Badminton Championship: Closing and prize giving to champions in Sanaa

The General Badminton Federation today closed the Future Championship for juniors and young people, organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and financed by the Youth and Sports Development Fund. The tournament took place in a very competitive atmosphere, reflecting the development and growing popularity of this sport.

During the closing ceremony, Ali Hadban, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth in charge of the Sports Sector, congratulated the participants and all the athletes on the occasion of the first Friday of Rajab, praising their high level of play.

He stressed that this championship attested to the importance given to the development of young people and reflected the efforts invested in their training and development.

The president of the federation, Mu’in Jarallah, praised the efforts of the players, highlighting their progress and their competitive spirit. He insisted that these age categories represent the real hope for the future of badminton and that the federation is committed to implementing its programs aimed at developing the sport and expanding its influence.

The awards ceremony, including medals, trophies and cash prizes, took place in the presence of Secretary General of the Olympic Committee, Mohammed Al-Ahjari, Director of Federations, Wael Al-Qurashi, Director of Federations and Clubs at the Ministry of Youth, Mohammed Al-Yarimi, and Secretary General of Al-Ahli Club of Sanaa. Junior boys:

Ali Hajar wins first place after his victory against Ahmed Dalil (2-0).

Boys under 12: Wael Sabr wins against Ziyad Al-Shawish (2-1).

Girls under 12:

Sarah Sabr won first place after her victory against Safaa Al-Haimi (2-0).

The president of the federation also presented the crest of the federation to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The latter received it in recognition of the efforts made by the ministry and the Benevolent Fund for Youth and Sports to support sport and overcome the difficulties encountered by the federation.
