Sana’a Badminton Championship 2024: Results & Highlights

The Yemeni Badminton Federation on Thursday concluded the Future Championship for juniors and youth, held on Thursday under the patronage of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and funded by the Youth and Children Care Fund.

Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports for the Sports Sector Ali Hadban congratulated the participants on the occasion of Rajab Friday and praised the high technical standards displayed during the tournament, noting that it reflects growing attention to age-group development.

Federation President Moeen Jarallah commended the players’ performance and competitive spirit, stressing that these age categories form the foundation for the future of badminton in Yemen.

Winners were honored with medals, trophies, and cash prizes. In the boys’ youth category, Ali Hajar claimed first place, while Wael Sabr won the boys’ under-10 title. In the girls’ under-10 category, Sara Sabr secured first place.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports was also honored with a federation shield in recognition of its support for the championship and the development of the sport.
