Scheduled for January 5th and 5th at the municipal gym
San Bartolomeo al Mare. On 5 and 6 January, at the municipal gym of San Bartolomeo al Mare, two competitions will take place archery organized by San Bartolomeo Archers Company. Both races are 18 meter indoor specialties and are both valid for qualification for the next 2026 Italian Indoor Championships which will take place in Rome at the end of February.
The competition called Waiting for the Befana will take place on January 5th, reserved for youth classes: juniors, students, teenagers and very young people. The Epifania Trophy will take place on January 6th, a race reserved for the senior and master classes. In both competitions there will be a large participation of archers with around 120 participants over two days.
Athletes from the clubs of San Bartolomeo, Ventimiglia, Imperia, Finale Ligure, Borghetto Santo Spirito, Savona, Genoa, Cuneo, Turin, Alpignano, Novara, Biella, Monza Brianza and Montalcino will participate in the two races. Two athletes belonging to the sports groups of the armed forces, who are part of the Italian national team and have taken part in numerous international trips, are also registered for the event. One of these athletes took part in the last two Olympics in Paris and Tokyo.
