The Buffalo Sabers team won their tenth consecutive victory in the National Hockey League (NHL) games on Wednesday. The “Sabres” beat the NHL vice-leader Dallas “Stars” with a score of 4:1 (0:1, 2:0, 2:0).

Already in the 15th second of the game, Mavrik Burks made it 1-0 for the home team, but it was the last goal scored by the Dallas team in this match. In the further course of the game, only the guests stood out – Tage Thompson had two goals in the third period with an interval of less than two minutes, as well as one assist, Josh Doen and Bowen Biram also scored accurately.

Uko Peka Lukkonen saved 28 shots in the winning goal.

Ten wins in a row is a repeated record for the “Sabres” team, having achieved it four times in total, the previous one in 2018, when Zemgus Girgensons was still playing in it.

Ten wins in a row is also a repeat record for this season. In November, the current league leader Colorado Avalanche had such a streak.

With 46 points in 39 games, the Sabers are in tenth place in the Eastern Conference.
