SOCHI – Artificial intelligence is gradually becoming a common part of everyday life.

People use it in various areas – from work to personal decisions regarding the most important topics related to relationships or work. Quick advice on any topic may seem reasonable and correct at first glance, but blindly following the recommendations of artificial intelligence can also have negative consequences.

This is exactly what the former coach of the Spanish national football team, Robert Moreno, was convinced of, who, according to several sources, paid for the excessive use of the ChatGPT application.

The 48-year-old coach worked on the bench of the Russian club FK Sochi, but his team won only one point from seven league matches. Based on the recommendations of artificial intelligence, Moreno decided to introduce a really non-standard mode for players. He scheduled the training sessions at seven o’clock in the morning and two days before the league match in Khabarovsk, he even ordered the team to go without sleep for 28 hours.

The former sports director of the club, Andrej Orlov, confirmed that the team really followed the schedule, which was created based on the recommendations of artificial intelligence. The unconventional way of managing the team did not pay off for Moreno, as he gradually lost the trust of the cabin and Sochi dropped out of the top Russian competition.
