Running Race | PPS Discount Ends Soon | Jan 15 Deadline

The precious sesame is essential to participate in a running race. The health prevention course (PPS), created to replace the famous medical certificate, will become chargeable on Thursday January 15 at 1 p.m. It will now cost five euros. It will now be called the health prevention pass.

The State had mandated the Athletics Federation to find a solution to relieve congestion in medical practices which then provided medical certificates.

After answering a self-assessment health questionnaire, the runner is invited to watch three awareness videos lasting three to four minutes. The PPS is then validated for a period of three months. This process was free and only concerned adult runners not licensed by a club. All FFA (French athletics federation) licensees can register for any race without providing proof of a PPS.

From Thursday January 15 at 1 p.m., the PPS will therefore be chargeable. From now on, you will have to pay 5 euros to obtain it. Another change, the validity period goes from three months to one year.

So take advantage of the last few hours to get it for free here.
