This is a funny way to welcome your new teammate. During rugby training earlier this month, a fight broke out between two Waratahs players in Australia: Miles Amatosero and Angus Scott-Young. If the first, a former Clermont player, has been at the club for three years now, the second has just arrived and has still not played a single match.
A video of the altercation was revealed on social networks by the Australian media Code Sports. In it, we see Amatosero violently punching his teammate while he is on the ground, while the other players try to intervene to separate them. Once up, the beatings continue all the same, without anyone knowing what caused the fight to start.
According to a club press release, the former Clermont player received a four-match suspension. “Amatosero will be able to reduce his suspension to two matches if he successfully completes psychological and educational support programs,” the club said.
As for Angus Scott-Young, he suffered a facial fracture and left with several stitches. Welcome to the club.
