“Rubene” defeats “Rīgas Lauvas”, Salacietei 6+2

The first of the two ELVI floorball league women’s matches scheduled for today took place at the Kocēni Sports House, where “Rubene” hosted the tournament’s last-placed “Rīgas Lions”. A convincing victory with 13:3 scored by the Kočenites, whose composition was highlighted by Emílija Salaciete with 8 (6+2) productivity points.

Already during the first period, Kocēni floorball players took the lead with 3:0. Two goals were scored by Emilija Salaciete, and one by Marta Drille. In the middle of the game, the scoreboard read 5-0, as Emílija Salaciete had scored two more goals. Soon after, the girls from Riga responded with two goals by Aneta Gaile – 2:5. After the second period, Kocēni “Rubene” was in the lead with 7-3, but scored six unanswered goals in the last period and triumphed with 13-3.
