Jakarta –
RRQ has announced a number of its roster that will compete in MPL ID S17. Of the three players they revealed, there is one new face who fills the explainer position.
“Please give a warm welcome to our new explainer, RRQ Dan. RRQ Dan previously fought together with RRQ Kaito, and will now guard the exp lane in the RRQ Hoshi area,” wrote RRQ, quoted from his official Instagram, Tuesday (27/1/2026).
RRQ Dan, whose real name is Dan Yambao, is a Mobile Legends player from the Philippines. He started his career by joining the Omega Neos team on August 9 2023. Then on September 30 2025 he joined RRQ Kaito, the RRQ tier 2 Mobile Legends division which plays on MDL PH.

His last appearance at MDL PH S6 was in October 2025, successfully bringing his team into the grand final round. Unfortunately, RRQ Kaito failed to win the title, because they lost to AP.Bren x Rough World Era with a final score of 2-4.
However, the MPL ID S17 schedule is still not known for certain. If you refer to the Mobile Legends road map for this year, the first competition will be held in March 2026. However, fans still have to wait for detailed information from MPL Indonesia.
Meanwhile, apart from Dan, the two rosters that RRQ Hoshi also revealed were Rinz and Idok. Hajirin Ajarat alias Rinz will play as midlaner, while Said Ali Ridho alias Idok fills the roamer position. The remaining positions of the jungler and goldlaner are still a mystery.
Previously, a number of players played junglers including Sutsujin, Zunesh and Ferxiic. Then for goldlaner there is Toyy who replaced Skylar after moving to Onic.
Unfortunately, RRQ Hoshi’s results in MPL ID S16 were not satisfactory. They had to admit the toughness of their opponents and ended up in seventh position. As a result, they failed to qualify for the playoffs and were unable to compete for the title and tickets to the M7 World Championship.
