Rome Judo Camp Day 2: Highlights & Action

Seconda giornata al Rome International Judo Camp: the show goes on

Rome, 4 January 2026. The Rome International Judo Camp continues with great enthusiasm, confirming important numbers and a climate of extraordinary participation on its second day of work, Saturday 4 January. One of the most significant aspects of this day was the variety of age groups present on the tatami: from the youngest athletes in the youth categories up to senior level and high competitive level judokas, all engaged side by side in the training sessions. A co-presence that encouraged discussion, technical growth and exchange of experiences, making the camp a transversal and highly valuable training opportunity. Under the guidance of the National Technical Directorate and the Technical Managers of the different categories, the work developed in an intense and structured way, with targeted training sessions and moments of technical study designed to meet the needs of athletes with different backgrounds and ages. The younger ones were able to observe and train alongside experienced judokas, while the more mature athletes helped raise the overall level of the sessions. Here is Alice Bellandi’s comment: “A good training camp to start the year. Lots of athletes to compete with, an environment that would be nice to offer during the competitive season to be able to train at our best”
