Rodrigues to Mirassol: Ex-Grêmio Defender Joins

Mirassol have confirmed the signing of centre-back Rodrigues, 28. The club announced the deal on Thursday.

The 1.88m defender, who previously played for Grêmio, was a free agent after leaving San Jose Earthquakes in Major League Soccer. He spent four seasons there, making over 100 appearances, with five goals and three assists.

Rodrigues is the 12th addition announced for the next season. The other 11 are Igor Cariús, Willian Machado, Lucas Oliveira, Denilson, Yuri Lara, Lucas Mugni, Eduardo, Rodrigues Rodrigues, Nathan Fogaça, Galeano and André Luís.

Full-back Igor Formiga and forward Everton Galdino are expected to be announced in the coming days.

After the end of 2025, 14 players departed the club, though only three were regular starters, centre-back Jemmes and midfielders Danielzinho and Gabriel.
