RHOON – Team 1 of BCN Rhoon played the return match at home against Strijen on Friday, January 23. The away match previously ended in a 3-5 victory for Rhoon, so the team was keen on at least the same result.
Ewoud and Pascal did exactly what was necessary in the first men’s doubles: win. In the second men’s doubles, Ewoud and Mischa fought for all they were worth, but unfortunately they had to leave the win to their opponent. Maria and Vicky did not miss any points and won both women’s doubles. This gave Rhoon a 3-1 lead after the doubles.
The mixed doubles were then divided equally between both teams. As a result, the final score, just like in the away match, was a 5-3 victory for BCN Rhoon 1.
With this result, the team remains undefeated and firmly at the top of the league.
