9 month suspension. According to the Foot Amateur website, Yohan Démont, coach of the RC Lens U19s, was sanctioned by the FFF. The reason, a “intimidating behavior” towards the referee of a Gambardella Cup match last October.
After his team was eliminated on penalties, a pitch invasion took place. The Lens coach then went to see the referee to blame him for this incident. “Five centimeters away” of the official, he would have threatened him: “You’ll see, we’ll see you later”. Yohan Démont can still appeal.
