With Nazar Bombata, the Berlin Rebels are bringing back one of their most important players for the 2026 season.
1101 yards total (only 47 yards loss), 6.2 yards average per run, 7 TDs & longest TD run for 96 yards. This makes Naz one of the top 3 RBs for the 2025 season.
The now 25-year-old running back from Los Angeles/CA came to Berlin in 2025 from the Arizona Wildcats (D1/NCAA).
Naz left Bishop Alemany High School in 2018 and moved to the University of Arizona to the Arizona Wildcats. He will play there from 2019 to 2024. In 2025 he will come to Berlin and thus to Germany for the first time, because he is no stranger to Europe in general.
And he leaves an impression.
With impressively strong runs and lots of power, he enriched the capital city’s running game in 2025 and will now do the same in 2026.
HC Douglas Fryer and sports director Dogan Özdincer are very happy to be able to bring Naz to Berlin for another season.

Naz will make his debut in 2026 on May 9th, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. against the Potsdam Royals, when it’s “Kick Off Season 2026!” for the Berlin Rebels.
