Raymond/Joaquin: Semifinals Qualification

Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin also advanced to the semifinals Thailand Masters 2026. Both beat Chia Yen Lin/Lin Yong Sheng 24-22, 21-12.

Playing on Court 2 Nimibutr Stadium, Bangkok, Friday (30/1/2026), Raymond/Joaquin appeared confident against the Thai pair. The 2026 Indonesia Masters runner up won two straight games in 37 minutes.

In the first game, Raymond/Joaquin were able to win a tough duel with a score of 24-22. Only in the second game, the Indonesian doubles were more relaxed and dominated, to lock in a 21-12 victory.

This result allowed Raymond/Joaquin to advance to the semifinals of the Thailand Masters 2026. They became the third Indonesian men’s doubles team to qualify for the final four.

Previously there were Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana and Muhammad Rian Ardianto/Rahmat Hidayat who also went to the semifinals. Both of them won over their respective opponents in the quarterfinals, and will clash in the next round.

Leo/Bagas won over the Malaysian pair, Chia Weijie/Lwi Sheng Hao on Court 2 Nimibutr Stadium, Friday (30/1/2026). Leo/Bagas, who were the first seeds, only needed 29 minutes to win in two straight games 21-11, 21-16.

The pair Rian/Hidayat also won. Both of them won over the third seeds from Taiwan, Fang-Chih Lee/Fang-Jen Lee with a score of 21-12, 21-18.

These results mean that Leo/Bagas will challenge Rian/Hidayat in the semifinals, Saturday (31/1). One ticket to the 2026 Thailand Masters men’s doubles final has been secured by Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Raymond/Joaquin are waiting for the Chinese doubles, Hu Ke Yuan/Lin Xiang Yi. If they win again, Raymond/Joaquin will challenge the winner of Leo/Bagas vs Rian/Hidayat to create an All Indonesian Final in men’s doubles Thailand Masters 2026.
