Ravens Hire Minter: New Head Coach Announced

The Baltimore Ravens have hired former Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter as the team’s new head coach.

According to Adam Schefter theESPNMinter reportedly signed a five-year deal with Baltimore.

Minter, 42, previously held various roles on the Ravens coaching staff between 2017 and 2020.

He served as the Chargers’ defensive coordinator the past two seasons after a three-year stint in the NCAA with Vanderbilt and Michigan.

Minter succeeds John Harbaugh, who led the Ravens for the past 18 seasons, winning a Super Bowl and going 180-113.

The Ravens missed the playoffs for the first time since 2021 after posting an 8-9 record in the regular season.
