Rashford to Man Utd: Return Blocked Despite Amorim Exit

Rashford has revealed he would like to stay at Barcelona if given the choice, as he vows to add to his already glittering trophy cabinet.

He said: “What I want is to stay at Barca. That’s the main goal, but that’s not the reason I train hard and give everything. The goal is to win. Barca is a very big and fantastic club, built to win titles.”

Rashford was also asked about his initial impressions of the city and how he is adapting to the Spanish giants, to which he replied: “I’ve adapted very well to the club and to the city. Since I arrived, I’ve felt very welcome.”

“For me, the reason I’m here is to help the team win trophies; last season was fantastic, but life moves very fast, everything changes, and the aim is to repeat that success. I’m completely focused on that. Everything is fantastic with the staff and my team-mates; I have no complaints.”

He added: “There is pressure here, but it’s not negative pressure; it’s the kind you crave as a player, the kind I want and have always wanted as a footballer. I can’t be in a place where there aren’t high expectations; for me, it’s harder to stay motivated and give my best at a club where the demands aren’t at the top.”
