On November 16, Filip Fornåå Svensson scored in a loss away to IK Oskarshamn.
In the period that followed, VH’s adult forward had to sit in the stands for a lot of games as a result of an injury.
On Friday night, in game number four after the injury break, he found the back of the net again. After carelessness from AIK, he whipped the puck into the goal.
– It was nice to see it roll in. Now it’s just a matter of building on it and continuing to build self-confidence.
Does it feel like your form is getting better and better?
– Yes, definitely. The first games back I was still feeling the injury, naturally. But now I have no worries. It’s just a matter of looking ahead. I’m healthy and running.
After the match, he pays tribute to chain mates Anton Carlsson and Jakob Karlsson, with whom he has played in recent fights.
– There are insanely skilled players and passers. I try to find surfaces, get open and get inside to make their life a little easier, give them time to hit their passes. We had good chemistry this game and also last time against Troy.
Filip Fornåå Svensson thinks that VH must start bringing in more traffic in front of the till, in order to improve target production going forward.

VH had the upper hand in the meeting with AIK, but had to find themselves losing with the odd goal (1–2). There were also a number of dangerous situations that were not managed, by a VH who won the shots 33-16.
– We have an incredible amount of opportunities and play well, but they are more efficient. Most of the time we are better, especially the first 40 minutes, but we don’t get any payoff. We make a decent “push” in the last ten minutes, but it’s not enough. It’s frustrating that the puck doesn’t go in.
There has been some talk lately about VH’s inefficiency. In addition to the game against Troy, when they conceded five pucks, the team has simply not scored enough goals going forward. In fact, VH scored the fewest goals in the entire series, averaging just over two goals per game.
What can you do better to get the pucks in?
– Above all, we sometimes have a tendency to play on the outside. And of course, it looks good in the statistics to get shots from there, but if we don’t have guys around the goal, we won’t get those crappy goals that are needed either. It is important that we start to get more inside and create returns and traffic in front of the box, says Filip Fornåå Svensson before he heads towards the changing rooms.
