After the Porub hockey players overpowered Vsetín, Frýdek-Místek and Přerov, and for the first time in the year recorded three victories in a row, it seemed that they were out of the worst. However… They did not manage the very important double match with Chomutov at all, they came out of it empty-handed and returned back to the bottom of the first league standings.

“It was already catching some contours of saving the competition, but now we have reached the bottom again and into the f*acks,” said Porub assistant coach Michal Barinka about the latest home setbacks.

RT TORAX lost 2:4 in Tuesday’s overtime, conceding three times in an unsuccessful second act. In the rematch, played twenty-four hours later, he led by two goals shortly before half-time, but ended up losing 3:4.

“It’s very difficult to assess, because after the first period, where we basically had the match under control, we showed something that I feel sorry for all our fans who had to watch it. The second and third periods were terrible! I would like to apologize to them for what we showed. It was not worthy of Poruba,” Barinka is angry.

However, it wavered with Poruba, perhaps also under the weight of the importance of the match. “I think we have such an experienced team that they shouldn’t be nervous about such matches, they should manage them. Unfortunately, there are nonsense in our game that shouldn’t happen in a match for everything,” the former national team defender shakes his head.

Chomutov equalized before the break and turned the score in his favor at the start of the third period. The troubled householder then cheered up for a while
