Pordic Badminton Tournament | Badminton’Ic Event

Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 January, the Louis-Auffray sports hall in Pordic vibrated to the rhythm of the cheers sent by the spectators who came to support their team for the tournament organized by Badminton’Ic. During the weekend, more than 120 competitors, all categories combined, competed to win the title of departmental champion which gives access to the Brittany Youth Championship which will take place on the weekend of February 7 and 8, 2026 in Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande (35).

All the clubs in the department were present, under the control of the committee. Olivier Macé, its president, wanted to thank the Pordic club “for its organization, with very present leaders, even anticipating the problems”. Killian Passereau, co-president of Badminton’Ic with Anaïs Jupille, hopes that the club, rich in this experience, will be able to organize the regional championship next year.

The structure currently brings together 140 players. If it is more recognized as a club oriented towards leisure, this does not prevent it from entering several teams in different levels of competition.
