Bad news for Faes
Wout Faes, just arrived from Leicester, was unlucky during the trip to Le Havre. The Red Devil twisted his ankle before the half-hour mark. The defender had come to help out the defense, but was also in the infirmary.
The other bad news concerns Eric Dier, also on the sidelines for several weeks. With these two absences, the Monegasque defensive sector is decimated. The equation becomes complex for Pocognoli, Eden Hazard had defended his former teammate during a gala match in Monaco.
Faced with this situation, the Belgian coach no longer has a choice. He will have to dig into the training center and throw the young people in the squad into the deep end.
The Principality club will have to grit their teeth and hope that their youth are up to the task. While waiting for the return of executives, Monaco will have to show solidity so as not to aggravate the crisis.
