PNC Riot Seizure: Weapons, Drugs & Computers Found

The authorities carried out an operation in which weapons, ammunition, a grenade, drugs, telephones and, in addition, were seized. recovered equipment from prison staff that had been held during the revolt.

Among the items recovered are: 6 bulletproof vests, 1 tactical anti-riot vest, 14 anti-tear gas masks, 4 pairs of shackles, portable radios and computer equipment.

Additionally, during the search the following were located:

The operation was developed after the dissemination of images in recent days that showed the mobility of some inmates in that prison.

The authorities assure that they continue with strategic actions to reinforce the supervision and control of the internal spaces of the penitentiary center.

Drugs and vest seized in zone 3

The security forces also reported this Saturday an operation in the El Gallito neighborhood, zone 3, within the framework of the state of siege, having located an abandoned vehicle with drugs, money and other items.
