The account stated that Dime Dimov would not wear the Persebaya Surabaya uniform in the second round of the 2025/2026 season.

The latest news says that there is one more foreign player who has the chance (opportunity) to leave, other than Dime Dimov.

The player is Persebaya Surabaya’s lifelong star, Diego Mauricio.

This news was revealed by an Instagram account that discusses Indonesian football and transfer issues, @liga_dagelann, Sunday, January 11 2026.

“Transfer Market. Diego Mauricio is interested in East Bengal (Indian League club). He is likely to be released by Persebaya,” wrote the account.

Diego Mauricio is one of Persebaya Surabaya’s recruits at the start of the 2025/2026 season.

The player, who has a market value of IDR 3.91 billion, was attracted by Persebaya Surabaya on August 22 2025 from the Indian League club, Odisha FC on a free transfer.
