Slovak hockey player Pavol Regenda scored three goals in an NHL match. However, his San Jose Sharks clearly lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning 3:7.
It was Regenda’s first ever hat trick in the pro league. The Slovak attacker played only four matches this season, in which he scored five goals.

The first goal was scored by Regenda when he was reducing the score from the home side’s point of view and thus took advantage of a two-minute penalty by compatriot Erik Černák, who was guilty of tripping the opponent.
At the end, he had another opportunity to score, but he did not beat the goalkeeper Vasiljevský. However, San Jose was losing 1:3 after the first period.

The Slovak’s second star moment came in the second period, when he took advantage of the assists of Timothy Liljegren and Jeff Skinner, respectively. good position in front of the opponent’s goal. After the second period, however, his team clearly lost 2:7.
Only one goal was scored in the final twenty minutes, when the Slovak hockey player completed his team’s 3:7 loss with his third goal.
In the match played earlier, the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey players continue their winning campaign in the overseas NHL, on the ice of the Detroit Red Wings, they won their fifth victory in the last six games with a result of 4:1.
The “Red Wings”, as leaders of the Eastern Conference, lost in the second meeting in a row.
