Ajax does not want to meet Paulo Da Silva’s financial demands for the time being, sources report Football zone. The eighteen-year-old attacker from NEC is a big fan of the club from Amsterdam, but will have to make compromises to realize his dream.

It is common knowledge that the Da Silva family has more interest in Ajax than Feyenoord. Brother Eric, an influencer by profession, makes no secret of this on his social media channels.

Paulo, five years his junior, keeps his love for the Amsterdam club a little more hidden because of his football career. It is clear that Da Silva prefers to continue his career in the Netherlands.

For the time being, Feyenoord is prepared to move on for Da Silva, who is high up in the tree anyway. For that reason, NEC does not seem to be retaining the Tilburger.

This month it will become clear which club Da Silva will sign for. The young goalkeeper is represented on a business level by his family, but does receive advice from Muy Manero.

That company is based in Amsterdam, but last year also brought top talent Ilai Grootfaam (15) from Ajax to Feyenoord.

Da Silva is currently the top scorer in the Eredivisie Under 19, with fourteen goals from twelve league games. He has already trained with the main squad several times in Nijmegen, but has not yet made a debut.
