It doesn’t come as a surprise, as Sturm’s sports director Michael Parensen announced last week that “a little bit of life will definitely come into the place in the next few days until the end of the transfer period.” And that’s exactly what it looks like. According to information from the Kleine Zeitung, the (free) summer transfer of Altach defender Paul Koller was fixed at the beginning of the year. The transfer was not the idea of neo-coach Fabio Ingolitsch, who knows and appreciates the 23-year-old very well from his time in Vorarlberg. The Graz club officials had already focused on Koller. Now there could be a premature change. Koller really wants to go to Graz; after Dimitri Lavalee’s injury-related absence, the Styrians would be interested in having a left-footed central defender in the squad. An agreement on the transfer fee should not be a major challenge and should happen this week.
