From the cobblestones of Montmartre to the Champs-Élysées, from the quays of the Seine to the avenues of the Bois de Boulogne, the capital will vibrate to the rhythm of strides in 2026. With more than thirty races already scheduled from January to December (not all the dates of all the races have been communicated), Paris confirms its place as an essential destination for running enthusiasts, whether beginners or seasoned athletes.
• 10k Montmartre AG2R La Mondiale – Sunday January 18
The year starts on the heights of the capital with the 10k Montmartre AG2R La Mondiale which takes place this weekend. A unique race that winds through the streets of the hill of the 18th arrondissement with a positive altitude difference of 153 m. “Between dynamic sections, more intimate passages and moments of effort marked by the difference in altitude, each portion has been designed to offer an extraordinary sporting and urban experience,” specify the organizers. The route, unveiled last December, begins on Boulevard Ornano and passes by the Sacré-Cœur basilica and the legendary Rue Lepic, scene of the Olympic cycling event in 2024.
• 10 km from the 14th – Sunday January 18
The same day, the 10 km of the 14th, in its 41st edition, offers a flat and rectilinear route composed of two 5 km loops in the Art Deco streets of the district, including the Montparnasse district. Departure from rue Gassendi, arrival from avenue du Maine. The perfect combo for beginners and regulars wanting to achieve a good time.
• 10 km from the Champs-Élysées – Sunday February 1st
Make way for glamor with the 4th edition of the Champs-Élysées 10 km, organized by the town hall of the 8th arrondissement. Departure at 10:30 a.m. from Avenue des Champs-Élysées, near Pavillon Le Doyen. This race allows you to walk down the most beautiful avenue in the world, passing through Place de la Concorde, Rue Royale, Boulevard Malesherbes and Parc Monceau.
• Valentine’s Day Run – Saturday February 14
The sports version of Valentine’s Day takes place at the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont in the 19th arrondissement. Organized since 2000 by the Front Runners of Paris, this activist race offers a 10 km solo (four loops of 2.5 km), a 5 km duo or a 5 km Cupid, on a hilly course with 128 m of cumulative positive altitude difference. An original way to celebrate love, sport and the fight against discrimination.
• HOKA Semi de Paris – Sunday March 8
The largest half marathon in the world opens the March ball. With more than 45,000 participants expected for 2026, the 21.0975 km event crosses the most beautiful neighborhoods of the capital, from Boulevard Saint-Germain to the Château de Vincennes via the Hôtel de Ville.
• Run for Toit – Saturday March 14
This solidarity race offers an untimed 5 km and a timed 10 km in the Bois de Boulogne, for the benefit of the Toit à Moi association which has been supporting the homeless for more than seventeen years. The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., just before the end of the winter break on March 31.
• Ecotrail de Paris – Saturday March 21 and Sunday March 22
The Ecotrail returns with its multiple distances (10, 20, 30, 35, 45, 80 and 120 km) and its Nordic walking (10 and 20 km), mixing nature and city in the west of Paris. An unmissable event for fans of urban trail running and long distances.
• Soli’run – Sunday March 22
The 14th edition of the Soli’run, organized by the Rotary Club Paris Concorde, brings together thousands of athletes in the Bois de Boulogne to raise funds for Habitat and Humanism Île-de-France. On the program: children’s races (1 and 2 km), 5 km, 4 km and 10 km walk.
• Sine Qua Non Run – Saturday March 28
This 8th edition of the night race starts from Place de la République with two distances: 6 km (start at 6 p.m.) and 10 km (departure at 7 p.m.). The route follows the canal towards the Seine-Saint-Denis. The event fights against sexist and sexual violence, and all profits are donated to associations committed to this subject.
• 10 km of the stars – Sunday March 29
On the banks of the Seine, the 10 km of the stars is dedicated to professionals in the hotel, catering and tourism industries but open to all. A very flat route in the heart of the capital.
• Foulées de l’Assurance – Sunday March 29
The same day, in the Bois de Boulogne, the Foulées de l’Assurance raise awareness about the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Several distances (5 and 10 km) in a bucolic environment.
• 10 km from Bois de Boulogne – Sunday April 5
In the heart of Parisian nature, this 10 km allows you to stock up on oxygen before the big marathon event.
• Schneider Electric Paris Marathon – Sunday April 12
The date not to be missed. The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is celebrating its 49th edition. Departure from the Champs-Élysées, at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, for a 42.195 km crossing the Bois de Boulogne and the Bois de Vincennes, to the finish on Avenue Foch. With more than 55,000 finishers in 2025 from nearly 150 countries, it is one of the most popular races in the world.
• 10 km Unicef – tomorrow 10th May
The Unicef 10 km returns for its second edition in the Bois de Boulogne, with a start at 9:30 a.m. Around 10,000 runners are expected. Children’s races of 1 and 3 km (free) complete the program. A solidarity race that supports Unicef’s actions against child malnutrition in more than 130 countries.
• 10 km from the new – Sunday May 31
Organized by the Lions Club and the town hall of the 9th arrondissement, this 10 km offers a timed route starting from Boulevard Haussmann, around the Opéra Garnier, the Folies Bergère, Pigalle and La Trinité. A distance of 5 km and family strides of 1.5 km complete the offer. 100% of profits are donated to humanitarian associations.
• Adidas 10K Paris – Sunday June 7
Presented as “the most beautiful 10 km in France”, the Adidas 10K Paris closes the first half. Departure at 8 a.m. from Avenue Victor Hugo, for a route passing the Trocadéro, the Louvre and the Champs-Élysées. Festive atmosphere guaranteed with DJs, entertainment and a post-race village. The event is certified FFA Label Argent.
• 10 km from Trocadéro – Saturday September 6
After the summer break, Paris gets back into rhythm with the Trocadéro 10 km which opens the new sports season. Facing the Eiffel Tower, runners rediscover the pleasure of treading the Parisian cobblestones.
• La Parisienne – from Thursday September 11 to Sunday September 13
La Parisienne celebrates its 29th edition under the theme “The Amazons”. This 100% women’s race offers 5, 6.7 or 10 km starting from the Pont d’Iéna, with a route passing through the Champ-de-Mars, the Concorde, the Champs-Élysées and the Grand Palais. An emblematic event in the capital.
• Memorun Paris – Saturday September 19 and Sunday September 20
In the Bois de Vincennes, the Memorun Paris is a solidarity race organized by France Alzheimer. On Saturday, children’s races (1 and 2 km), 5 km timed and 5 km walk. Sunday, 10 km timed. A weekend committed to advancing research.
• Paris-Versailles – Sunday September 27
The legendary Paris-Versailles, in its 47th edition, offers its 16.2 km between the Eiffel Tower and the Château de Versailles, with the formidable Côte des Gardes in Meudon. More than 25,000 participants are expected for this Ile-de-France running institution.
• Harmonie Mutuelle 20 km from Paris – Sunday October 11
Autumn reaches its peak with the Harmonie Mutuelle 20 km de Paris, 48th edition of this iconic race. Departure at 9 a.m. from the Pont d’Iéna, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, for a route crossing the Trocadéro, the Arc de Triomphe, the Bois de Boulogne, Roland-Garros and the Maison de la Radio, with return to the foot of the Iron Lady. This year, the event supports the Grégory Lemarchal association for research into cystic fibrosis, with 3 euros donated per registration.
• Dodo race – Sunday October 18
The Dodo Course, in its 15th edition organized by “Courir pour le Plaisir”, offers 6.5 km at Parc Montsouris in the 14th arrondissement, as well as races for children or parent-child duos. Part of the registration fees is donated to the French Lowe Syndrome Association.
• Saucony 10 km Eiffel Tower – Sunday December 6
The year ends in apotheosis with the Saucony 10 km Eiffel Tower. Departure at 9 a.m. from Place de Fontenoy, in front of the Unesco building in the 7th arrondissement. The route, very fast and flat, passes by Les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower via the avenues de la Tour Maubourg, Rapp and de Suffren. One of the fastest routes in France, ideal for achieving exceptional times in a winter atmosphere.
From Montmartre to Versailles, from the banks of the Seine to the Bois de Boulogne and Vincennes, Paris 2026 promises to be an exceptional year for all running enthusiasts. All that’s left to do is put on your sneakers.
