Those who get tickets are alpine skier Arvid Skoglund, cross-country skiers Ellen Westerlund (debutant), Alice Morelius (debutant) and Arnt-Christian Furuberg (debutant) as well as wheelchair curlers Viljo Petersson Dahl (skipper), Kristina Ulander, Ronny Persson, Sabina Johansson and Marcus Holm.
“Investments are starting to pay off”
– It makes me very happy and proud to be able to introduce three debutants to the Swedish squad. It’s been over 20 years since we had such a large national cross-country team at the Paralympics, which proves that our long-term investments are starting to pay off, says squad leader Niclas Grön in a press release.
Since before, Ebba Årsjö (alpine), Aaron Lindström (alpine) and Zebastian Modin (cross-country skiing), with guide Emil Talsi, are in the squad.
The games are broadcast on SVT
At the last Paralympics, Sweden won two golds, two silvers and three bronzes – Sweden’s best Winter Games in 20 years.
The 2026 Paralympics run from 6–15 March and the Swedish team will be announced on 24 February.
The games are broadcast on SVT.
