The hat-trick scored this Tuesday (20) proved the experienced striker’s reputation as an executioner Robson from Palmeiras.

During passages through Coritiba, Fortaleza and Novorizontino, Robson faced Verdão nine times and scored eight goals.

How it was

Novorizontino showed a lesson in effectiveness in the first half and converted the two chances they had. In the 20th minute, Flaco López didn’t cut off a corner kick and the ball fell to Robson, who headed the ball into the open goal.

In search of a draw, Palmeiras went all out and almost tied with Riquelme Fillipe. The young striker headed the ball and saw Jordi make a great save. When Verdão started to press, Maik crossed at the second post, Piquerez didn’t cut it and Robson took it first time to expand.

Palmeiras were hit with cold water 16 minutes into the second half. Luighi played the wrong way, was disarmed by Hélio Borges and Robson, with the goal open, didn’t waste it, scoring the hat-trick in the match.

Dejected, Verdão took the fourth with Hélio Borges’ cross shot, which deflected off Benedetti before entering Marcelo Lomba’s corner. The fifth only didn’t come because the ball deflected past Patrick and skimmed the post.

Classification in Paulistão:
