O Palm trees lost 100% in the Paulista Championship after taking 4-0 from Novorizontino on Tuesday night (20), at the Jorge Ismael de Biasi Stadium, in Novo Horizonte, for the fourth round.
Projecting the classic on Saturday (24), against São Paulocoach Abel Ferreira rested most of the starters and suffered the worst defeat since taking office in November 2020.
The first defeat made Verdão fall to third placewith the same nine points of Novorizontino, which is in the vice leadership because of the balance of (6 to -1).
Leader of Paulistão, the Red Bull Bragantino also has nine pointsbut still enters the field in the fourth round, against Mirassolthis Wednesday (21), away from home.

During passages through Coritiba, Fortaleza and Novorizontino, Robson faced Verdão nine times and scored eight goals.
How it was
Novorizontino showed a lesson in effectiveness in the first half and converted the two chances they had. In the 20th minute, Flaco López didn’t cut off a corner kick and the ball fell to Robson, who headed the ball into the open goal.
