In a few months, a large sports complex will be built at Vire Normandy (Calvados). One of the two partners tells us about this XXL project Or fell, squash, badminton et pickleball will rub shoulders.
Who ?
These aretheir Caen associates who are at the origin of this project to open this complex dedicated to padel : Christophe aged 45 and Séverine, 48 years old. They will both be the managers.

The complex of 2,100 m2will emerge from the ground on a plot next to the Vire bowling. It will be dedicated in part to fell. Seven lots will be created there. We will also have the possibility of play squash, badminton and pickleball.
A market study was carried out: “Our questionnaire worked very well. We had very positive feedback . Obviously, there is a wait,” explains Christophe. “We didn’t know Vire very well, so we found out about the local lifeand we had a great welcome from business leaders and traders . »
The padel complexes closest to turn are today at Saint-Lô and Flers.
Why such enthusiasm?
« The fellis an accessible and fun sport. We have fun from the first game without being a racket player. It doesn’t matter the age. And we are progressing quickly.”
Regarding the pickleball it is a discipline that is well developed in the United States.
Pickleball is played on a court the size of a badminton court. It is also an easy sport to access. The rules are quite simple.
When ?
The site will host a seminar roomand a club-house . “We want it to be not just a sports space, but a place to livewhere people feel good.
The work will begin in the month of FEBRUARY. The opening is planned in september.
