Return to Camp Nou a month and a half later
Barça’s last home game was on December 13, the victory against Osasuna. From there, eight games away from his fans, in four different competitions. Two Copa del Rey ties passed, against Guadalajara and Racing; two matches of the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia, against Athletic Club and Real Madrid, with the title being won; a day of the Champions League, against Slavia Prague; and three exits in the League: Barcelona beat Villarreal, still in December; to Espanyol, already at the beginning of the new year, and lost the last day in San Sebastián against Real Sociedad, breaking the Catalans’ streak of 11 consecutive victories.
