Olave Injury Update: Saints WR Out for Final Game

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave will miss the season finale against the Atlanta Falcons due to a blood clot in one of his lungs.

Olave was listed on the injury report after missing Wednesday’s practice with an illness. He should be healthy within a month and should be able to take part in the Saints’ program, which begins in April.

Olave posted a photo of himself in the hospital on Instagram. “Thank God for everything! Life is full of unexpected events and I am grateful to be able to experience that. We must continue to move forward with our heads held high,” Olave said.

Olave, 25, finished his fourth season with the Saints with a career-high 1,163 yards and nine touchdowns.
