The 31-year-old goalkeeper is breaking off his loan in Spain and moving to English third division club Leyton Orient on loan until the end of the season. His contract with parent club Watford remains valid until 2028.
Bachmann had been on loan to the Spanish second division club Deportivo La Coruna since August, but was unable to assert himself there. The 14-time national player remained without a competitive game.
Bachmann is now returning to England, where he spent his entire professional career. The experienced goalkeeper wants to get back to regular match practice at third division club Leyton Orient.
The club from east London is currently in 18th place in League One and is in the middle of a relegation battle. Bachmann has appeared for the Austrian national team 14 times in his career, most recently in September 2023 against Moldova (1-1).
