Il New L’Aquila Basketball opens the second half of the season with a very important victory Interregional SERIE B Championship, Conference Central-Southern Italy.
Last night at PalaAngeli another test of character and pride for the boys coach D’Addiowhich following the feat of the previous week with the battleship Scandone Avellino, surpass the third force of the tournament, the Angri Basketball, at the end of a race that thrilled the many fans present, in a still sold out PalaAngeli and which literally pushed the team from the capital to bring home two more fundamental points for the run-up to the promotion playoffs.
A match won, lost and won again at the end of 40 minutes with an adrenaline rush out of the ordinary, which resulted in top level play on both fronts. The first two quarters seemed to direct the match towards Nuovo Basket L’Aquilano, who took to the pitch with the right attitude and with a great competitive energy on both sides of the pitch, managing to close 55-44 at halftime, seeming to be in full control of the match.
Upon returning from the locker rooms, the Campania team produced a stellar third period, led by the overflowing Argentinian Martinez (43 points for him in the end) and thanks to many uncertainties and less attention from the L’Aquila boys in the two phases of the game.
