  • Victor Osimhen’s Super Eagles won their three Group C matches. With eight goals scored, they formed the best attack in the first round. But each time, they conceded at least one goal.
  • Mozambique, for its part, comes out of the groups as best third. With its victory (3-2) against Gabon, Mozambique secured three points, despite two defeats against Ivory Coast (0-1) and Cameroon (1-2).
