The 10th edition of Art of Brick set sail with pirate LEGOs. This weekend, the Halle des Sports in Saint-Privat-des-Vieux was transformed into a pirate den for the tenth edition of the Art of Brick exhibition. The event highlighted the world of pirates, with spectacular creations, costumed entertainers and the participation of around fifty exhibitors.
CULTURE The Seville cigarettes of Rafaela Carrasco open the Flemish Festival. As a preview, Rafaela Carrasco opened the backstage of her future creation to the connoisseur public in Nîmes last night. The choreographer pays tribute to these women cigar makers from Seville, who made cigars by hand and who fought to improve their working conditions. Apart from a work in progress by Humo, the new work on these women cigar makers that Rafaela Carrasco is preparing, the 36th Nîmes Flamenco Festival opens with a particularly short edition (from January 13 to 18), heard, generalist, relying on big names of the current scene like Tomatito and talented young people like María Moreno or Ángeles Toledano.

ARLES More than 340 badminton players competing for the 8th edition of the Volants de l’Arlésienne. 73 clubs from the PACA region and Occitanie were represented during this competition organized by the Badminton Club Arlésien. And the locals were not unworthy, with several podiums to boot.

Established since the spring, Vigan’s latest bakery offering, Pain nu, has won over its customers, without overshadowing existing businesses, thanks to an offer that did not exist in the town: bread that “grows” thanks to natural leaven, according to the precepts of the International Bakery School of Sisteron.
