[케이에스피뉴스=[남양주] [Reporter Kim Jeong-hoon kspa@kspnews.com]Namyangju City announced that it will be recruiting participants for the ‘2026 Namyangju Youth Tennis Class 1st Class’ from the 27th to the 2nd of next month.

The Namyangju Youth Tennis Class is a program designed to encourage healthy leisure activities and exchanges among young people. More than 400 people applied at the time of recruitment last year, and it received great interest from young people.

The first season will run for a total of 8 weeks from February 7 to March 28 at the Namyangju Sports and Culture Center tennis court every Saturday from 7 PM to 9 PM. Participants will receive guidance from professional instructors through customized lessons for each level.

The target of recruitment is young people aged 19 to 39 living in the area, and a total of 70 people will be selected. Applications for participation can be made through the QR code contained in promotional materials, and the final participants are selected through a comprehensive review of their motivation for application and willingness to participate.

In particular, this year’s youth tennis class has been expanded to three classes per year, allowing a total of 210 young people to participate. In addition, even on days when there are no classes, the tennis court is open for free every Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. so that young people who wish can freely enjoy tennis.

A city official said, “We have expanded the program to provide opportunities for young people to take care of their health through exercise and communicate with new people,” and added, “We plan to continue to expand daily sports opportunities for young people in the future.”
