Nainggolan Debut & Beveren's Win: Belgian Pro League Highlights

Kortrijk had a difficult time visiting Patro Eisden, where Nainggolan kicked off for the first time. The Kompels had a slight field dominance, which resulted in the only goal of the match about ten minutes before the end through Léandro Rousseau (79′), who responded well to a long throw-in.

Beveren was clearly the better team in the East Cantons and was already 0-2 ahead at half time thanks to the eleventh competition goal from Lennart Mertens (17′) and one from Kurt Abrahams (45+1′). After the break, however, the Pandas changed their game and Logan Delaurier-Chaubet (58′) scored the tying goal, but that was all the home team could do. The Waaslanders have won for the fifth time in a row.

Finally, FC Liège was too strong for Francs Borains with 3-1. Simon Paulet opened the score for the Liège team after fifteen minutes, after which Levi Malungu (29′) leveled the score just before the half hour. Frederic Soelle Soelle (40′ and 42′) then put two in the basket in a short time and thus put the match in a final position.

Beveren (51 pts) remains the only one undefeated and is further ahead of Kortrijk (42 pts). FC Liège and Patro Eisden (both 32 points) are doing well and are in the top six. Eupen (30 pts) does the reverse movement and is seventh, Francs Borains (19 pts) is twelfth.
