It’s already Friday and the weekend is full of local sports. If you like basketball, on Sunday January 4 you have an appointment in Navia Pavilion. The fourth edition of the Nadal City of Vigo 3×3 basketball tournamentan event organized by CB Seis do Nadal with municipal collaboration. The most striking thing about this edition is that they have broken their own attendance record. They have managed to bring together 280 players divided into 59 teams. Although the majority of the squads are from here, from Vigo, there will also be representation from outside the city, which always gives an extra point of interest to the matches and shows that 3×3 continues to gain traction.

The tournament is structured so that everyone from the youngest to adults can play, covering male, female and mixed categories. The organization has divided the day into two large blocks so that everything flows in Navia. If you want to see the base categories, that is, the ‘little ones’, the schedule is tomorrow, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. The Minibasketball and Children’s categories are concentrated here, which are the largest, with 19 teams in each one. Then, in the afternoon, it is the turn of the ‘seniors’, who will play from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. In this section we will see the Cadets (10 teams) and the Seniors (8 teams). It is a format that allows you to watch basketball at different levels throughout the day.

This event is not just a club thing, but is part of the Christmas sports programming that the Council entrusts to the VIDE Foundation, being the second activity of this type that they manage on these dates.
